| Robert M. Broaddus, O.D.
Dr. Broaddus is a graduate of the University of Alabama, Birmingham School of Optometry where he also earned a Masters' degree in Vision Science. Undergraduate studies were completed at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. He is a member of both the American and Kansas Optometric Associations.
Mary Hemphill, O.D.
Dr. Mary Hemphill completed her undergraduate work at the University
of Kansas before entering Southern California College of Optometry.
During her clinical education, she served clinics throughout
Southern California including Air force Bases, The Center for
the Partially Sighted, The Optometric Center at Los Angeles,
and the Optometric Center at Fullerton. Her clinical outreach
rotation involved serving the Navaho people at Shiprock and
Crownpoint Indian Health Services Hospitals.
Upon graduation, Dr. Hemphill served in a mobile optometric
unit which traveled to Convalescent Homes, homes for the Mentally
Ill and homes for special needs children. After returning to
her homeland of the Midwest, Dr. Hemphill took a position at
the Eye Center of Kansas City, now the Hunkeler Eye Centers.
She remained in that position for over seven years.
Dr. Hemphill joined Windmill Eye Associates in 1997 after the
birth of her third child. She lives with her husband Wayne,
who is also an optometrist, and their three children in Olathe.
